    Leyland National Greenway

    PDZ 6276

This was new in 1975 as GOL 403N as a MK1 Leyland National

In November 1994 it was converted into a Greenway and reregistered PDZ 6276 and went around with London & Country and then Arriva. Later on it went to Islwyn Borough Transport and in 2003 Countryliner buses and then in 2007 was leased by The Big Lemon and used on service 42X/42 for a short time.

Unfortunately after only a few weeks in service, on its way back to the depot following a routine inspection, one of the pistons decided not to stop at the end ofg the cylinder but continue through the other side and out the side of the engine wall. This was deemed uneconomical to repair and the bus was returned to its owner. Shame really, it was a great bus.
