Welcome to The Big Lemon!
Our aim is to develop faster, cheaper and friendlier bus services in order to encourage people out of their cars and reduce our impact on the environment.

We have just started our first Members' Club.
Members receive free travel on our service and many other benefits such as promotions at restaurants, clubs and pubs, access to Big Lemon Parties and the opportunity to make a few quid introducing other members.

We launched our first service on 1st September 2007, operating between Falmer Station and Brighton Station via Old Steine. This service ran for three months before encountering some major problems which put a temporary stop to it. We have now re-launched with a new timetable and hope to build up our service from here.
Our buses run on 100% locally-sourced used cooking oil in order to minimise their impact on the environment, and at £1.20 per journey or £2 for the whole day our fares are a bargain!
We also have buses available for hire, so if you are planning a wedding, party, school trip or work outing please get in touch! Our rates are very reasonable, and we provide a full costing so you can see exactly what you're paying for.
